In a horrifying incident of Shooting in Charlotte, a 4-year-old was shot accidentally and taken to taken to the hospital by his dad.

4 Year Old Shot In Charlotte: Shooting in Charlotte
On April 28, 2024, at around 9 p.m., a 4-year-old child was shot at a home on Wheatside Dr. Charlotte, NC. Immediately, after the incident, the child was taken to the hospital for treatment. Hospital staff called the police and informed them of the shooting. The kid was shot accidentally.
The child is expected to be okay.
Suspects of 4-year-Old Shooting In Charlotte
Police rushed to the hospital after learning the child suffered a gunshot wound. According to police, the child suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.
The child’s father Leeshawn Brooks, 32, was arrested. Another suspect Paris Perry, 32, was also arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with felony child abuse, firearm by felon, possession of a stolen firearm, and storage of firearms to protect minors.
Charges are pending after a child was accidentally shot with an unsecured firearm.
The shooting happened on Wheatside Drive near University City Boulevard around 8 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
